Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21 1956) is an actor from Canada, British. best known for her role in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO series Sex and the City for which she received five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. She reprised the role in the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). Her leading roles include Police Academy, Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 1980s. Kim Cattrall's performance in the HBO TV show Sex & the City is among the most memorable. Cattrall who is an acclaimed actress, has claimed her role as Samantha Jones as a career-defining part. The sitcom didn't just boost her recognition in the national public, but also made her an international superstar, giving the actress a lot of fame and respect.
